| All membership applications are subject to approval and payment of annual dues. The categories of membership are:
Voting Member. An individual employed full-time as a paralegal (as previously defined), and who has completed one of the following criteria:
- a paralegal degree, an associate degree in paralegal studies, or a paralegal certificate;
- a baccalaureate degree; or
- at least one-year experience working as a paralegal, including employer sponsored training.
Annual dues: $45.00
Student Member. An individual enrolled in a formal paralegal studies program, but not employed as a full-time paralegal.
Annual Dues: $20.00
Affiliate Member. An individual who:
- is not employed as a paralegal at the time of application;
- has been a voting member but is not employed at the time of membership renewal;
- is a graduate of a formal course of paralegal study, but is not working as a paralegal at the time of application; or
- is not able to satisfy the requirements of voting membership.
Annual dues: $40.00
Sustaining Member. A law firm, company or institution interested in supporting KCPA.
Annual dues: $105.00
