Events
Registration Fees:
- Online payment is preferred when registering for an event.
- We understand things come up and you may not be able to attend an event that you have paid for; unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds or transfers of registration to other individuals or future events.
- All outstanding balances must be paid in full prior to being allowed to attend an upcoming event.
- Unpaid event registration fees may result in cancellation of registration and/or being turned away at event check-in.
- While we offer several FREE events throughout the year, there are others that require a fee to cover the cost of venues, meals, gratuity, etc. Most firms/employers will cover the cost of attendance for our events, so be sure to inquire if you aren’t sure. If your firm/employer does not cover the cost to attend our events, and it would create a hardship to pay the fee to attend an event you feel would be particularly beneficial, please reach out to a member of the board to discuss alternate options.
Photographs and Video:
- Please be aware that photographs and video are taken at events that may be posted to the KCPA website, Social Media or used in ParaView. Registration for an event will be considered acknowledgement and consent that you may appear in photos and video taken at said event and that said images/video may be used as described above.
Prizes:
- Prizes to be given away at some KCPA events may include alcohol. By registering, an attendee (whether a member or guest) is agreeing to only accept such gifts if they are over the age of 21 and to abide by applicable laws governing possession/consumption of alcohol.
- Must be present to win any drawings, prizes and/or awards unless otherwise noted/announced.
